I sit here and for these few minutes, I am the hill.

I am eons, laying here. I am an obstacle for the ant to navigate, the stable grounding for bugs to rest, the mirror for spiders to weave their tapestry.

I am the peaks and valleys. I am a mountain. I am tectonic shifts, moving islands. The wind crests my shoulders, shielding the worst of the gusty chill. I hold oceans in my hand. The rumbles in my chest warn of stormy skies.

My tears become the waterfall pooling in the valleys. Return rivers to the oceans and wash away boulders. They unearth salt crystals and smooth away the scarred earth.

I shield them from the sun. This thunder lulls. The stars sway softly through my fingers. Come rest in my nighttime. And when I rise, the day shall return to you.

I am the hills, the mountains, the valleys, and the trees. I am the wind, the ocean, the thunder, and the rain. I am the stars and the dark. I am the Universe.

I am you. You are me.
